Though the number of streaming platforms and tech-based viewing options means, not only is the demand for content for audiences at the highest it has ever been, the demand for Australian screen funding is now more competitive than ever.
So, to ensure high-quality, compelling content that resonates with audiences, the Australian funding application processes are rightfully rigorous and specific in their call for applications that are succinct, transparent and diverse.

Ahead of my transition to production company leadership, for just over 20 years my career was in global ad agencies such as Grey, JWT, Publicis and Ogilvy across Sydney, London and more recently in Tokyo – for some of the world’s biggest advertisers.
These creative agency years included the production of 100s of television commercials made in conjunction with companies such as Ridley Scott’s RSA films, GoodOil and @Radical Media.
These years also included grant writing, tender document writing and the writing/preparation of pitch decks.
Personally, I have a genuine love of entertainment and interest in the evolving nature of film and television – in particular the rise of streaming platforms and the demand for more authentic and more compelling content.
